THIS SATURDAY: Want to have your own show on WRFL or volunteer at the station? Now is your time! Come to WRFL’s DisOrientation on Saturday 9/17 at Noon in the UK Gatton Student Center, on the 2nd floor in the Senate Chamber.
At DisO, you’ll get to meet the Board of Directors, get to know what WRFL is all about, and sign up for training! All are welcome: WRFL is UK’s student-run radio station, but you don’t have to be a student to join. Students, faculty/staff, and all other community members in and around Lexington are welcome to join us for DisOrientation and become a DJ or volunteer.
In our ongoing efforts to get back to 24/7 live in-studio programming, we need your help in filling out the rest of our schedule especially in the overnight hours, so if you think you even might want to join the station, don’t hesitate: come to DisO on Saturday, get trained up to be a radio DJ (it’s much easier than you think, we promise) and start your own show on WRFL!
