With your support, WRFL has been part of Lexington culture and serving the community for nearly 40 years. By donating to the station, you can contribute to WRFL’s ongoing service, helping us continue to provide you music, news, and live programming you can’t find anywhere else on the radio dial.

Individual Giving

As an individual listener, you can make a donation to WRFL by giving to the Radio Free Lexington Fund at the University of Kentucky. The fund was created in 2006 to help facilitate listeners’ donations toward WRFL’s power upgrade of 88.1 FM from 250 watts to 7900 watts in 2010. Today, the fund helps WRFL in maintaining our broadcast equipment and serving the community. Here’s how you can donate:

• Click here to open the University of Kentucky’s “Make a Gift” website — give.uky.edu
• Under the “Select Your Funds” heading, in the “Type a fund name” field, you must enter “Radio Free Lexington Fund” and select it from the list — this is required for your gift to go to WRFL
• Select a one-time or recurring gift, and enter your donation amount
