Coming at You Live

First Hour- Under the name, Alan, this hour will be about playing some enjoyable catchy R&B songs that aren’t getting played but have a wide appeal. Then pairing these hits with local/regional songs of the past two decades that have a catchy qualities but aren’t as well known with the intent of making them familiar and hopefully earworms. With all of this, quite a bit of information will be given about the tracks with more frequent call backs as the audience learns the personality of the host.

Second Hour – Sub Genre themed with guests and myself bringing in songs we like and discussing. Occasionally pick an artist within that genre.
Example – Jazz themed with Sarah Schmidt bringing in Jazz songs she wants to highlight and tell stories behind them. I would play what I’m most familiar with Steely Dan and we would discuss who they were influenced by.
-Soul themed with Aidan Greenwell where he would pick a few favorite soul songs he likes and how he found them. Would play Curtis Mayfield and discuss his music.
