The Angel of History

UK ethnomusicologist and music historian Dr. Revell Carr will be your guide for a journey through time and space in his musical Tardis. Each week Dr. Carr (aka DJ Rev) will explore the music of a different time and place–from Brazil in the 1920s, to the Southern Appalachians in the 30s, to the Bay Area in the 1960s, to the Middle East in the 1970s, Polynesia in the 90s, or Kentucky in the 2000s. Together we will sift through the refuse pile of history to find fascinating, fun, and challenging music, that illuminates the past of humankind.
