Peter Baniak is a local journalism and media leader in Central Kentucky. He has served as executive editor of the Lexington Herald-Leader, and has supported journalism education through public affairs reporting and the Al Cross Fellowship.
Kakie Urch is a journalism professor and cofounder of WRFL Lexington at the University of Kentucky, as well as a longtime supporter of student media and local reporting. Through Campus Voices and other projects, she helps connect students with public affairs journalism and real-world reporting experience.
