Hey everyone! I’m super excited to announce that our first specialty programming event of the summer show cycle is nearly upon us; it’s called “SUN’S OUT, SYNTHS OUT,” and it’s gonna be a whole week packed full of fantastic programming focused entirely on electronic music and specially curated by just a few of our many amazing DJs here at WRFL. Electronic music, as you probably know, is a very expansive genre of music that covers a massive variety of different subgenres; and every DJ participating will be bringing you something very different from the rest. Depending on when you tune in, you may hear some classic IDM, droning new age ambient synths, shimmering reverb-soaked vaporwave, bouncy Latin American hyperpop, glitchy electro-hip-hop, chaotic sample-ridden hyperflip, and more. Only time will tell, really. All you have to do to find out is tune your radio dial all the way to the left starting this Sunday.
